Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Mollie account?
For iDEAL payments, yes. You create one for free while connecting. Without Mollie you can still invoice and get paid by bank transfer.
I use the small business scheme (KOR). Does that work?
Yes. Choose that you don't charge VAT when you set up your account. Your invoices then contain no VAT and state that you are VAT-exempt (KOR).
Who receives the money?
You do. Your client pays straight into your own Mollie account; Mollie pays out to your bank account.
What does a payment cost?
Mollie charges its own transaction fee for iDEAL. On the free plan TikBon adds €0.25 per successful iDEAL payment. With Starter you pay TikBon nothing per payment. Bank transfers are always free.
Can I cancel?
Yes, Starter can be cancelled monthly. You then go back to the free plan and keep all your invoices.
